IP THEATRE
In the theatre project, seniors (> 65) and children (7–12) jointly design and perform a punch and judy show. With great attention to detail and infinite empathy, everything is designed, cut, glued, and sawed by hand.
Haste makes waste. The group has been meeting almost every week for joint sessions since October 2009. Great progress was made (see the unique pieces below)! Still, there is quite some work left before the first audiences will enjoy the show. Once the group is ready, it will go on tour with own stories and well-known fairy tales.
The group will tour kindergardens, hospitals for children, nursing homes, and family parties.
The primary objective of this program is to foster natural human bonds between young and old through creative craftsmanship and art.
